Satan Did NOT Tempt Jesus in the Wilderness

I believe everything the Bible says.  I believe you can trust it in its entirety.

Yes, I am a “the Bible says it, I believe it and that settles it” kind of guy.tempt apple

I try not to portion out what’s easy to believe and turn my eyes away from the really hard stuff, the unpopular stuff; the stuff that’s easy to dismiss as either too antiquated or implausible.

Check Out My Guest Post at sammyadebiyi.com

My friend Sammy has a great blog  – check it out here – and has been nice enough to allow me to guest post.

The post is called “Change the Way You Think” and it is in line with the stuff I have been writing recently. Please check it out and leave some comments.

While you’re there check out some of Sammy’s posts. Blending  his unique vision and wit Sammy captures life and presents it in a refreshing and enjoyable way. His blog has become a regular stop for me. I know you’ll enjoy his work as much as I do.

Thank you, as always, and please let me know what you think about “Change the Way You Think“.

Baseball, Believers and Values

damon  In baseball, well sports in general, most teams have a certain way they approach things. Some teams pay particular attention to hitting, others pitching, most talk about fundamentals and getting the little things or “basics” right. This is usually referred to as the – since I live in the Tampa area I will pay homage to my home team first – “Ray’s” way or the “Buccaneer” way but I have also heard it called the “Steelers” way among others.

Billboards, Clouds and the Reality of Jesus

We cloudsall start off in basically the same way, as children watching other people live their lives.

We see all the things they do and make most of our life decisions based on what we see. We’re either motivated to do or not do what we’ve witnessed.

Like you, I saw things and made choices that have moved me through life to the point where I question everything, including my value as a person.

Christians, Cars and Jesus Fish

I love bumper stickers… on other people’s cars.

I choose not to place them on any of my vehicles but I like to read them. I like when they’re funny, pithy or sarcastic. I like the cleaver way they us words or pictures to make their point. I like the ones that make me think. As an extension, in most cases, of our personalities – allowing of course for the fact that 100s of others usually have the same sticker – I think they offer the car owner a lot in the way of personal expression.
