In Genesis, scripture declares that God spoke the world into existence. 8 times in the first chapter a verse begins with the words, “and God said.”
It’s what he says or rather, what He does when it comes to man.
For each piece of creation, God says, “Let there be.” Let there be light, day, night, birds, creatures in the sea and on land. It’s as if God is looking at the canvas of Earth and pointing around saying, “Put a tree there, over there, one here. Add some birds up there, down here a beast…” That’s not how it really happened…well, I don’t know that – I mean, I am older now, but I wasn’t there…how old do you think I am anyway…
In the 2nd chapter, there are details as to how God made man. Verse 7 tells us, “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.“
God formed and God breathed. He got physically involved the process. He didn’t leave it to anyone else – he didn’t delegate the responsibility.
HE built you.
Remember that the next time you feel down about your appearance, your situation, your lack of…whatever…the maker of EVERYTHING took His time and own hands and made YOU.
You.
I’d love to talk with about this – or anything else for that matter. Leave me a comment and I’ll respond.
