Poetry Friday – How? Why? What?

How do you know the heart in me; when I hardly know it myself?

How do you love me so completely, when I cannot let go?

How do you know just what to say when I’m about to cry?

How do you know what the answer is and I do not know why?

Why do you stay right beside me no matter what I do?

Why do you give your grace to me when I deserve much less?

Why do you stop me from crossing the edge when I’m determined to fall?

Why do you love me despite my indifference and how I ignore your call?

What good does it do to run from your gaze when you’re everywhere?

What did I do to deserve your love? When I have nothing to offer you.

What do I do when I feel alone but I know that you’re by my side?

What is the reason you give me your wings when I need to hide?

The strength that I find in your arms pales compared to the love from your death.

The life that you gave for me to have life will forever remain.

How did you do what you did for mankind?

Why, when we don’t deserve love?

What can we do but fall on our faces and bask in the glow from above?

I could well connect it to be spiritual. I often think the same, and realize how luck i am!

djabbas5, First, thanks for stopping by and commenting – I really appreciate the support.
Second, all faith is, is a moment of realization and a life time pursuit of the truth of Jesus Christ.
Thanks again for checking out my post.
