Here’s the deal – I posted a video of my stand-up at Daily Motion for the chance to win a trip to the Montreux comedy festival in December.
All I need is – well – your support.

Oh – I almost forgot, I would also greatly appreciate it if you tell everyone you know about the contest and have them vote and then ask them to tell everyone they know…and so on.
Now, the people running the contest are only paying for my airfare so I CANNOT offer to take a random person with me – not to mention TL&T would be going if they were BUT I will do this…

Not everyone’s video is going to make it to the first voting round. The jury selects twenty people from all entrants first. Then the voting begins. Then the top ten videos go back to the jury and they select five.

Thanks – I had not picked up on that. According to the site the voting should start today – just looked and it still seems to not be happening. Bizarre. thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Just wanted you to know – I went to vote on Wednesday – not open yet. Wasn’t able to return until today (my son got married this past Saturday!!). Went over today, and found that the *jury* had already picked 20 videos.
Whoever these people are, they are insane. They did NOT pick my personal favorite, Mick Holt.
I plan to boycott the Montreux Comedy Festival.

When you get accustomed to so much losing – a two game streak may as well be the Super Bowl. Your Bronco’s are looking good – but then it’s the regular season – Peyton will choke at just the “right” time 🙂 OF course – your team will at least be IN the playoffs.

And, if you have a kind bone in your body at all, you will NOT discuss last night’s fiasco. It’s not polite to poke fun at the mourning.
It was NOT a good sports weekend in my house. The LA Kings lost a tough one on Thursday, the UCLA Bruins made me cry, and…well…Peyton and I aren’t speaking right now.
Sigh…sports. Gotta love ’em, gotta hate ’em.
And yes, I am NOT mentioning the subsequent OT loss for the Kings on Saturday. I was too busy watching the Bruins self-destruct.
