God Does Not Care

God does not care.

It makes absolutely no difference what you have heard in the past. I am telling you God does not care.

Let me make myself 100% clear in what I am saying here, because I do not want there to be ANY misunderstanding :

God – Does – Not – Care.

Bottom line.

God does not care where you come from, what you drive or what you look like. God does not care how many drugs you have taken, how much money you have stolen, how many people you have hurt, lied to or cheated.

God simply does not care.

God does not care about anything, except having a relationship with you. And that means more to Him than you will ever know. “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart…(Jeremiah 1:5 -New Living Translation).”

God loves you so much that none of that stuff you carry around with you, the self-pity, anger, or doubt – none of that matters to God.

SO WHAT MATTERS?

What matters to God is that you come to him and accept His GIFT of salvation. God has promised that anyone that asks for forgiveness will be forgiven. No questions, no maybes, and no “Hey, let me get back to you on that.” Jesus said, “For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:8. New Living Translation).”

There is nothing you can do, nothing you can say, think or feel that God cannot or will not forgive. You just have to believe. “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16 – New Living Translation).”

Often, the biggest obstacles people have to turning to God is not the regret of missing out on all the great stuff they think they will have to give up by becoming a Christian, it is not even the fear of eternity in Hell…To be fair, most people do not believe in Hell anyway

…I believe it is the fear of really being loved, “…Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong (Ephesians 3:17 – New Living Translation).”

This kind of intimacy scares people.

WHAT TO DO?

PLEASE, do not waste another minute because, “…no one knows the day or hour when these things [Christ’s return] will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows. And since you don’t know when that time will come, be on guard! Stay alert…” and accept Christ TODAY! (Mark 13:32-33 – New Living Translation).

There is no trick to it and it not magic, just say something like this – or use your own words, “Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I ask you into my heart. Forgive me for my sins. I accept you as Lord and Savior of my life.”

That’s it. It is not magic. There is no formula. Simply a change of heart.

If you meant what you just said you are no longer what you were, you are a child of God. “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! (2 Corinthians 5:17 – New Living Translation)”

Please do not misunderstand – God does care about your sin. If he did not, He would not have sent Jesus to die in your place. He would not have sent the Holy Spirit to help guide you to Him.

No matter how much baggage you bring to the station, God will let you on board.

You just have to RECEIVE and put your faith into action.

God loves you. That – is why he does not care!
