God has given me so much – and yet – I feel like I have nothing. I look to money and “things” as an answer – when I know they are not.
Psalm 118 verse 6 tells me I have nothing to fear from this world. What can “mere mortals do to me?”
The answer is, “NOTHING.” Well, nothing that I do not allow them to do and in truth, whatever I allow them to do is actually me, allowing Satan to do and this should not be as God has given all believers power over Satan.
My fear and anger about my circumstances is the power I give Satan – and I need not do that.
The events celebrated this weekend, the death and resurrection of Christ, are the proof that, while the fighting continues, the battle has already been won.
Verse 24 of Psalm 118 tells us that no matter what happens today – it is God’s plan for us – I “will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Happy Easter to you all.
